Security
DG’s Pro Tech & Accessories Inc. and the employee will maintain and be responsible for the confidentiality of customer information as outlined in the confidentiality agreement as signed by the employee and will be upheld by each employee. The last person to leave the premises assumes responsibility for securing the area. A lost or stolen key must be reported immediately. Keys are not to be duplicated. All customer information is held in the highest regard. This will be strictly enforced and disciplinary action will take place if necessary. Key drop box is locked and located on office man door for after hours vehicle drop off.
Insurance
We have your needs covered with years of experience in handling insurance claims. You can relax while we can communicate on your behalf to arrange all necessary repairs to get your vehicle back up and running. We also carry our own business insurance for theft, property damage and customer vehicle road tests to keep your mind at ease while your vehicle is in our care. DG’s Pro Tech & Accessories Inc. is a fully licensed automotive repair shop.

Warranty Disclaimer
Thank you for your purchase of the products and services at DG’s Pro Tech. This Limited Warranty applies to the physical goods, purchased from DG’s Pro Tech and services provided by DG’s Pro Tech. This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, DG’s Pro Tech will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. DG’s Pro Tech will repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts. The Warranty Period is 1 year from date of purchase or service rendered. This Limited Warranty will be void and does not cover any problem that is caused by: unforeseen conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship, customer neglect, accidents, theft, illegal alterations and neglect of regular maintenance. To obtain warranty service, you must first contact DG’s Pro Tech to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you as per DG’s Pro Tech discretion. The buyer agrees that DG’s Pro Tech is not responsible for loss of wages, loss profit and /or sales, injury to persons or property, towing charges or storage fees, substitute transportation or unauthorized repairs.
Customer Supplied Parts & Customer Installed Parts

The policy is for when a customer chooses to supply their own parts for repairs recommended, and/or install parts purchased from DG’s Pro Tech but not installed by DG’s Pro Tech staff.
Ontario Garage policy insurance laws prohibit any coverage of warranty implied or otherwise or any liability for these actions. Limited to the discretion of the owner and/or the necessary parts suppliers. Repairs/install of a vehicle outside of DG’s ProTech will result in a void in warranty of the parts as well as no labour coverage.
The parts and/or vehicle must be inspected by DG’s ProTech prior to any discussion for any concern validation. As a convenience to our valued customers, DG’s Pro Tech may offer a limited complimentary appointment to perform a visual inspection of the component /concern, and if required, a further appointment (customer paid). This second appointment for further disassembly and/or diagnosis to the full satisfaction of the owner and/or parts suppliers.
Storage Fees

The terms and conditions of DG’s Pro Tech related to storage fees of the vehicle are calculated at a rate of $45.00 per day at the discretion of the owner. Storage fees will begin 1 week after either: 1) Completion of repairs 2) Completion of diagnostic and/ or inspection when no repairs are to follow
Customers will have access to the vehicle to remove personal property between 8AM and 5PM on all business days. Payment is requested in full prior to removing the vehicle from the business property. Payment methods include e-transfer, direct debit, cash, credit card, and certified cheque or bank draft.
Payment Plans/Options/Additional Fees
Payment is due in full upon completion of the vehicle repair to the satisfaction of the technician, customer and owner of DG’s Pro Tech. Payment options include: Visa, MasterCard, Direct Debit, Cash, Cheque, American Express, and Bank draft. Please note that credit card payments will be subject to a fee of 2.4% of the total bill. If the customer has not paid the full amount, DG’s Pro Tech and Dustin Golley reserve the right to a Mechanics Lien of the vehicle until the bill is paid in full, including accumulated interest charges of 7.5%. Interest is charged by 12:00PM on the last day of the month on the remaining balance on the bill to a maximum 42% per year. By signing below, you agree with the above policy of DG’s Pro Tech. Your co-operation is appreciated.
Important facts after making modifications to your OEM vehicle!
- Any concerns and or issues related to your non oem product and or service must be communicated in a time manner and returned to DG’s for further diagnosis, if necessary, a tow should be arranged by the customer, at the customers expense.
- Other industry repair facilities (auto shops) may not have access or understanding of the product or may not approve of their use due to bias or experience
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration and or accident of the vehicle will void your warranty, videos and pictures may be used as proof
- Tampering with your product outside of a qualified repair shop, using improper fluids and/or improper installation can void your warranty
- Lack of recommended maintenance and service with record can void your warranty
- This warranty does not include loss of use, towing, lost earnings and/or personal injury.
- The manufacturer has the final decision for warranty coverage.
- Warranty is not valid unless payment has been received and cores returned if applicable.
- Parts related, but not directly attached to the upgraded product can fail unexpectedly. Immediate inspection should be performed and relayed to the manager at DG’s protech. These non direct parts are not covered under this warranty agreement due to the added stress or preexisting wear and are at the owners expense. Example of this — wheel bearing failure faster that industry standard after lift kit install with larger than stock wheel/ tire assemblies.
- Verification and inspection of the parts or service provided can take between 1-2 weeks, the customer is responsible to make arrangements for another vehicle during this time at their own expense.
- If warranty is denied, the customer agrees and is responsible for the diagnosis, shipping and subsequent repair of the vehicle.
- 1000 KM check over of your modification must be performed by DG’s Pro Tech to engage the stated warranty- this includes a retorque and inspection of the modified/ upgraded part- this may be free of charge if under the 20 min limit – otherwise is customer invoice on date of inspection – see manager for further details.

Important facts after purchasing a large power train product!

- Any concerns and or issues related to your power train product must by communicated in a timely manner and returned to DG’s for further diagnosis, a tow should be arranged by the customer, at the customers expense. Note: warranty may not be valid with change of ownership.
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration and or accident of the vehicle will void your warranty, videos and pictures may be used as proof
- Tampering with your product outside of a qualified repair shop, using improper fluids and/or improper installation can void your warranty
- Lack of recommended maintenance and service with record can void your warranty
- This warranty does not include loss of use, towing, lost earnings and/or personal injury, and the manufacturer has the final decision for warranty coverage
- Warranty is not valid unless payment has been received and a core has been received
- Transmission specific repairs – Parts related, but not parts of the transmission can fail and effect the trans, converter, radiator coolers, linkage levers, controls, rubber mounts, external oil lines, electric accessories or seals, if so, your transmission warranty is non-valid, as there is no way to predict their events and we are not responsible for them
- Engine, Injection, Forced induction specific repairs – Parts related, but not parts of the engine can fail and affect the engine and other close components, examples, injector wear/ leakage causes, piston or emissions damage from excessive EGT’s and surrounding components, if so, this warranty is non-valid, there is no way to predict these events and cannot be responsible for them.
- Verification and inspection of the power train component failure can take between 1-2 weeks, the customer is responsible to make arrangements for another vehicle during this time at their own expense
- If warranty is denied, the customer is responsible for the diagnosis, shipping and subsequent repair/ reassembly of the vehicle and power train component – if reassembly is denied the vehicle will be left disassembled
- Depending on repair 1000-5000 KM check over of your power train component must be performed by DG’s Pro Tech to engage the stated warranty – this check is free of charge but any warranty required flush or service is to be paid by the customer at that visit.
